1. Refund Policy

1.1. Unapproved applications

  • Full refunds are issued for all unapproved applications within 5–7 business days of the rejection notice.

  • Refunds are processed through the original payment method only.

  • SWAN is not required to provide a reason for declining an application.

1.2. Approved applications & delivered features

  • No refunds will be issued once promotional content (newsletter, Instagram, or TikTok) has been published.

  • Partial refunds are not available for partially delivered packages.

  • If SWAN cancels a confirmed partnership before any content is delivered, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

  • Swag or gifted services accepted as non-monetary compensation are non-refundable once received by SWAN.

2. Content & Approval Policy

2.1. Application review

  • SWAN reserves the right to approve, decline, or waitlist any partnership application at its sole discretion.

  • Submission of payment does not constitute approval of a partnership.

  • SWAN will notify applicants of approval or rejection within 3–5 business days of application receipt.

2.2. Content editing & usage

  • Submitted content (bios, photos, copy, links) may be edited for length, tone, grammar, and brand fit without prior notice.

  • SWAN retains the right to archive or remove published partnership content at any time without liability.

  • Partners grant SWAN a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted photos and copy for the purpose of the agreed promotional placement.

  • SWAN does not guarantee specific engagement metrics, sales results, website traffic, or follower growth as a result of any partnership feature.

2.3. Materials submission

  • Partners must submit all required materials — including photos, business description, website link, and any promotional offer — within 7 days of receiving an approval confirmation.

  • Required materials include: high-resolution logo or photo, business bio (150–300 words), website URL, social media handles, and any special offer or discount code for SWAN members.

  • Failure to submit materials within 7 days may result in forfeiture of the scheduled feature slot. Forfeited slots are non-refundable.

3. Partnership Values & Conduct

3.1. Eligibility

  • SWAN partners exclusively with women-owned businesses and businesses that demonstrably support, serve, or champion women.

  • Applicants must accurately represent their business ownership, values, and practices in all application materials.

  • Any misrepresentation of a business's ownership, values, or practices during the application process will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

3.2. Prohibited partnerships

  • SWAN does not partner with businesses promoting adult content, tobacco, gambling, or multi-level marketing.

  • SWAN reserves the right to decline or immediately cancel any partnership — with a full refund — if a business is found to engage in discriminatory practices, predatory business models, or conduct that conflicts with SWAN's mission and values.

  • Partners may not use SWAN's name, logo, or audience association to promote products or services not covered in the approved partnership agreement.

4. Non-Monetary Compensation

4.1. Eligibility & terms

  • In lieu of monetary payment, SWAN may accept product gifting or complimentary services of equivalent value at the sole discretion of the SWAN founder. Gifted products and services are provided to SWAN's founder as compensation for promotional services rendered and are non-transferable.

  • Non-monetary compensation is available exclusively for the Reign partnership tier.

  • Gifted products must have a minimum retail value of $75. Proof of retail value may be requested.

  • Complimentary services must have a minimum market value of $75 and must be rendered to SWAN's founder personally.

  • Member discount codes offered in lieu of payment must offer a minimum of 15% off and must remain active and functional for the full 30-day partnership window.

  • Physical swag or gifted products must be received by SWAN prior to scheduling of any promotional content.

  • Non-monetary compensation arrangements are confirmed in writing via email before the partnership is considered active.

  • SWAN is not obligated to publicly disclose the nature of non-monetary compensation arrangements.

4.2. Estimated market values

  • For reference, the estimated market value of SWAN partnership tiers based on current influencer marketing benchmarks (2026) is as follows: The Nest — $75–$100; The Flock — $125–$175; Take Flight — $250–$475; Reign — $675–$1,225.

  • Non-monetary compensation must reflect equivalent market value as determined solely by SWAN's founder.

  • Market value estimates are based on standard micro-influencer rates for combined newsletter, Instagram, and TikTok placements and are subject to change as SWAN's audience grows.

5. Scheduling & Delivery

5.1. Scheduling

  • Partnership features are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis following approval and receipt of payment or confirmed non-monetary compensation.

  • SWAN aims to deliver all features within 30 days of approval. Exact scheduling is at SWAN's discretion based on content calendar availability.

  • Partners will receive a written confirmation of their scheduled feature date via email.

  • The Nest (free tier) is limited to 2 placements per month. Applications received when spots are full will be waitlisted for the following month at no additional cost.

5.2. Rescheduling & delays

  • SWAN reserves the right to reschedule features due to unforeseen circumstances. Partners will be notified promptly and rescheduled at the next available slot.

  • SWAN is not liable for delays caused by a partner's failure to submit required materials on time.

  • Partners who miss the 7-day materials submission window may be rescheduled at SWAN's discretion or forfeit their slot without refund.

5.3. Reign 30-day window

  • Reign partnerships include a 30-day window during which all deliverables — including website placement, newsletter banner, and social features — will be active.

  • The 30-day Reign window begins on the date the first promotional content is published.

  • Website and newsletter banner placements will be removed at the conclusion of the 30-day window unless the partnership is renewed.

6. First Right of Renewal (Reign only)

6.1. Renewal terms

  • Reign partners are entitled to first right of renewal for the following month's partnership slot.

  • SWAN will contact the current Reign partner via email 7 days prior to the end of their 30-day window with a renewal offer.

  • The renewal offer will remain open for 48 hours. If no response is received, the slot will be opened to new applicants.

  • Renewal is subject to SWAN's ongoing approval and is not guaranteed.

  • Renewal pricing is subject to change with 7 days notice.

7. General Terms

7.1. Governing law & disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

  • Any disputes arising from partnership arrangements will first be addressed through good-faith communication between both parties.

  • SWAN's total liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the partnership in question.

7.2. Amendments

  • SWAN reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the Partnership Terms page with a revised date.

  • Continued use of SWAN's partnership services after a terms update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

  • Partners with active partnerships at the time of an update will be notified of material changes by email.

7.3. Entire agreement

  • These terms, together with any written email confirmation of partnership details, constitute the entire agreement between SWAN and the partner business.

  • No verbal agreements or representations made outside of this document and written email confirmations shall be binding.
